My Story
The Unconventional Path
From high school dropout to VP of Sales—here's how I got here.
I Left High School to Chase a Dream
Most people think you need a degree to succeed. I thought I needed a bike.
At 17, I dropped out of high school to become a professional cyclist. For five years, I competed at the highest level—racing across the country, pushing my body to its limits, and learning what it really means to compete.
Cycling taught me discipline, resilience, and how to perform under pressure. It taught me that success isn't about talent—it's about showing up every single day and doing the work when no one's watching.
When Plan A Ends, You Build Plan B
When my cycling career ended, I entered the workforce with no degree, no traditional credentials, and no clear path forward. So I started where I could: retail.
At DICK'S Sporting Goods, I worked my way from the floor to District Manager, overseeing $204M in revenue and driving 21% growth over three years. I created the "Head Coach" program for developing managers—a system that scaled org-wide and produced 23+ promotions in year one.
I learned that leadership isn't about titles. It's about building people up and creating systems that work.
The Pivot to B2B Sales
Ready for a new challenge, I moved into B2B sales. At Trek Bicycle, I managed territories and led store acquisitions. Then came Leyton, where I stepped into my first Director role.
As Director of Business Development, I scaled the sales team from 5 to 26 people in just 24 months. We expanded across global markets—US, Canada, Morocco, and France—building processes and playbooks from scratch.
This is where I discovered my real passion: not just selling, but building sales organizations that actually work.
Today: FYC Labs & Beyond
Now I'm VP of Sales at FYC Labs, an Inc. 5000 software development agency with 12+ years of building world-class digital products for companies like Remax, Budweiser, and National University.
On the side, I've launched GTM consulting to help other companies avoid the trial-and-error approach to scaling sales. I bring real operator experience—not just theory—to every engagement.
I'm also deep into AI-powered sales operations, building tools and workflows that help sales teams work smarter, not harder.

Beyond the Resume
I'm a direct communicator with a sense of humor—because sales is hard enough without taking ourselves too seriously. I believe the best sales professionals combine deep expertise with genuine curiosity and a willingness to laugh at themselves.
Based in Florida, I'm always up for a conversation about sales strategy, AI tools, or why cycling is the best sport you've never tried.
